The Enclave's compound, in Akron
Type City
Location Ohio
Inhabitants Raiders (Previously), Enclave (Previously)
Akron was the fifth-largest city in the state of Ohio before the Great War.

Akron was home to all sorts of raiders and other ruffians for a long time. They fought amongst themselves, and preyed upon the wastelanders around the city. Sometime around 2250, a large Enclave scouting force from Chicago found their way there, and purged the city of those they deemed undesirables, and established it as their base of operations in the region.

Until recently, the Enclave forces in Akron had a strong influence over the surrounding area. However, the city has since gone dark, and Enclave activity in the region has ceased. The reason for this is unknown.
